Feedback On Feedback

Teacher Feedback
What do you like about my project at this stage?
  • Clear and consistent style - black/white/grey effect
  • Images on contents page
  • Quote design on DPS
What could be improved?
  • Manufactured/blasphemy on FC - is it clear to the reader what this is about?
  • Blurry FC image of H.Williams
  • Wording on bar code too big
  • Cutting out of H.Williams/blurry image on contents
  • Lighting on photographs of albums
Student Feedback
Front Cover Positives:
  • Image is good and style of mag name
  • Nice choice for title
  • Good photos
  • Layout is really good
Front Cover Improvements:
  • Images at the bottom aren't clear
  • Don't like the blue possibly use red?
  • Change of background might work better
  • Text might look better embossed
  • Hayley Williams on front page looks a bit out of place
Contents Page Positives:
  • Consistent colours
  • Images are good
  • Image - lovely - original
  • Very clear house style
  • Love how you listed the contents
  • Variety of texts fits in genre well
Contents Page Improvements:
  • Page numbers are bitty
  • Blurry main photograph
  • Could use the colour red on the contents page? as its been used on front cover and DPS
  • Images of albums look cut off
Double Page Spread Positives:
  • Generally really good
  • Love the image and fonts
  • Well layed out DPS
  • Background works well and it fits the house style
Double Page Spread Improvements:
  • Hard to see text against red
  • I don't like the red and yellow paint covers the writing and makes it hard to read
  • Writing could be in three columns
  • Make the text more clear larger?
  • Theres a lot of empty space
  • Make the "Paramore Will" a bit bigger
On my double page spread the red and yellow was not meant to be there. The file didn't work when i tried to open it so when we finally got it working it was in a non editable format and for some reason had added the colours. On the real version this wont be on there.
