Preliminary Task

Diary Entry

In the preliminary task I created a blog to place all of my work. I started research into existing school magazines and talked about the codes and conventions of them such as colour, text, font and layout. I made this as a post on my blog. I then took pictures around the school to add to my magazine. I then proceeded to making the front cover and creating the magazine, my title was News of the Bay. I added the photos and text around the front cover. I then made my contents page showing what I had on each page of the magazine and also added pictures relating to the headings. I made the layout and colour schemes match the front cover so they were identifiable as the same magazine. I put my work up on my blog as JPEG files in a folder. I then wrote an evaluation of the task taking about the different technology such as camera techniques and Photoshop.
